Out There

Winner, National Board of Review of Motion Pictures Student Award

This was my graduation film for my MFA at Columbia University, New York. The film is a psychological thriller shot entirely on location in the Languedoc in the South of France.

Starring Jamie Foreman (Nil By Mouth, Layer Cake, Roman Polanski’s Oliver Twist), Out There was awarded the National Board of Review of Motion Pictures Student Award in the US as well as Faculty Honors at the Columbia University Film Festival. It is distributed by Shorts International and was selected for the prestigious British Council Short Film scheme. ‘Out There’ has screened as an official selection in numerous international film festivals, including Palm Springs, Los Angeles, Cleveland, Wood Green, Egypt, the London Short Film Festival and Encounters in the UK.

The film was devised and written with regular screenwriting partner, Mike Walden, whose latest feature film ‘uwantme2killhim?is produced by Bryan Singer.
