I directed four and edit produced two of this eight part Netflix Original commission. The series follows former Panorama journalist, Raphael Rowe, as he lives as a prisoner for a week in some of the world’s most violent jails. Challenges included securing access to one of the world’s most prolific serial killers in Ukraine and filming in Costa Rica’s notoriously lawless ‘La Reforma’ prison. I also directed episodes in Romania and Colombia.
