I wrote and directed this short documentary commissioned by Wilder Films for Network Rail to celebrate the opening of the new western concourse at King’s Cross Station. The film was played both at the public launch of the new station and was subsequently screened both online and at National Rail press events.
The film takes an arts doc approach, telling the architectural design story behind the construction of the new building, using a blend of stylised, motion control timelapse footage, CGI, macro photography and dramatic crane and dolly shots of the finished building.
