Working with former war reporter, Hilary Andersson, I directed this Panorama charting her journey to New York near the height of the Covid crisis in April 2020. The film explores why the virus took 21,000 lives in just three months in New York – three times the number in London, which has a similar population. The film also explores political controversies as the rest of America begins to reopen.
